RFuW Engineering Q1/2021 Update
Happy New Year! Despite all of the unfortunate head winds of 2020, it was a record setting year for RFuW Engineering and we would like to thank all of our customers for your trust and support. Our development team has been very busy and we have over a dozen recently released products and several on deck to be released in Q1/21 and Q2/21.
VHF & UHF High Power Limiter
The RFLM-300511QA-392 (Freq: 20 MHz to 512 MHz; Peak: +60 dBm; FL < +19 dBm) will be released in Q1/21.
L & S Band High Power 2KW Limiter
The RFLM-052402QC-290 (Freq: 500 MHz to 4.0 GHz; Peak: +63 dBm; FL < +17 dBm) was introduced in late 2020 and is now available from stock.
VHF & UHF High Power Switch
Both the MSW2T-2040XL-198 (Series-Shunt SP2T; Freq: 100 MHz to 2.0 GHz) CW: +56 dBm) and MSW2T-020522-232 (Series Only SP2T; CW: +60 dBm) were introduced to address High Power, Low Frequency applications such as VHF & UHF transceivers and MRI systems. Historically these types of applications have been forced to use large discrete MELF packaged PIN Diodes which impose heavy parasitic capacitance and suboptimal thermal characteristics.
IFF Switch & Limiters
Our family of High Power IFF Switches and Limiters has been extremely well received by the worldwide Avionic market. The MSW2T-2040X-198 High Power IFF SP2T (Peak: +60 dBm) was released in early Q3 and the reception by the market has been very warm. Similarly, the RFLM-961122MC-299 High Power IFF Limiter (Peak: +60 dBm) is available from stock now and the RFLM-961122XC-392 Extended High Power IFF Limiter (+63 dBm) will be introduced in Q1/21.
X Band High Power Switch & Limiter
RFuW Engineering ramped full production this quarter of the RFLM-802123QC-291, High Power X Band Limiter (Peak: + 53 dBm) extending power handling coverage beyond the Medium Power RFLM-872113HC-150 (Peak: +46 dBm). The MSW2T-8512-740 High Power X Band SP2T, Peak: +50 dBm will be introduced in Q1/21.
Ku Band High Power Limiter
RFuW Engineering will introduce its first Ku Band High Power Limiter, the RFLM-142173HC-150, Peak Power: +50 dBm in Q2/21.
High Power SP6T
Five High Power SP6T switches have been RELEASED and other development: (MSW6T-6000-600) (Freq: 30 MHz to 512 MHz, Common Cathode; Peak: +57 dBm) & MSW6T-6040-600 ( Freq: 30 MHz to 512 MHz; Common Cathode; Peak: +58 dBm) were launched in early Q3 and the MSW6T-6010-600 (Freq: 30 MHz to 512 MHz, Common Anode; Peak: +57 dBm) will be released in Q1/21 followed by the MSW6T-6100-600 (Freq: 2 MHz to 30 MHz, Common Cathode; Peak: +55 dBm) and MSW2T-6040-601 (Freq: 30 MHz to 512 MHz, Common Anode; Peak: +57 dBm) in Q2/21. These VHF to UHF High Power SP6T have been well received by transceiver OEMs who have struggled with the thermal short comings of discrete MELF PIN diodes and high parasitic capacitance.
High Voltage Switch Drivers
A family of High Voltage PIN Switch Drivers capable of providing biasing voltages necessary in High Power and Low Frequency RF Switch applications are currently being launched. This family will consist of four devices: SP2T and SP3T Drivers which support switches requiring both Positive & Negative Biasing Voltages.
